The Zip Overlay Set comes complete with Instructions and can be used in conjunction with the bag makers ruler. The ruler has the 0 in the centre and the numbers work outwards as does the zip overlay tools, these can be used both for creating the post-box zip insert and for an overly surrounding the zip.
Combing the use of the ruler and zip overlay tool ensures that your zip will be in the centre and just as importantly level.
